AAPT - Asia Pacific Poker Tour

APPT was introduced in the Asia Pacific region in year 2007. Like the EPT this tournament focuses on the Asia Pacific region starting from the so called Las Vegas of Europe - The Macau to Seoul in South Korea. Then it goes further down to Japan extending upto Australia and New Zealand.

The success of AAPT gave birth to LAPT, allowing to extending poker upto the South America.

LAPT Season is currently on, which started in August 2009 at Macau and then the next destination in October was at Auckland in New Zealand. The upcoming venue is at Cebu in Japan.

If you cannot travel upto the big events in Europe then AAPT is probably the best option. These regions are upcoming and always adding new venue to their list, so its easy to grab huge chunks and get popular on the poker circuit.
