Season 5 - Pieter de Korver

This 26 year old, Holland poker pro mowed down 935 contestants to become the winner of one of the most popular poker tournaments – European Poker Tour Season 5 which was held at Bay Resorts in Monte Carlo.

He started playing professional poker since 2007.

He won the famous TV show 'Poker Kampioen Van Nederland' sponsored by PokerStars. That earned him a place in PokersStars Team of Holland. And from there on began his rounds of EPT.

He was the life of the final table celebrating each win with cheers and whistles, to support him were his group of Dutch friends who drove straight from Holland to Monaco to support their buddy.

Korver hopes to invest some of his winnings in real estate and also wishes to help one of his close friends to start a business.
